Positions are assessed against published institutional deadlines and current visa processing times, and change without notice. Confirm the deadline for your specific programme before you rely on it.
By mid-September 2026 — English test cleared. IELTS 6.5 overall with no band below 5.5 is the working benchmark across destinations, and re-sits need room in the calendar.
By late September 2026 — degree and transcripts attested. HEC first, then MOFA. MOFA no longer accepts walk-in apostille applications, so an online appointment must be booked.
By October 2026 — applications submitted and offers held. Deposits and any pre-CAS tuition payment fall due at this point; five UK partners require 100% of tuition before CAS is issued.
By November 2026 — funds in place and correctly seasoned. The holding period differs by destination: the UK requires 28 consecutive days, Ireland six months, the Netherlands has no seasoning period but requires liquid funds. Applying one country's rule to another is the most common avoidable error.
By December 2026 — visa lodged. Processing runs three to six weeks from Pakistan for the UK and four to eight weeks for Australia and Ireland. Ireland refuses any application lodged within 21 working days of the course start.
